This is one of the takes during the interview that went wrong.

Our final video

Here's our final video for our preliminary task.
Including shot reverse shot, 180 degree rule, match on action.

Friday, 6 January 2012

We only used this shot as the one below, Rosie was walking too slow and speeding up the clip didn't make any improvements. The character also isn't situated in the same position.

The character also has their head up in this shot, whereas in the top picture she is looking down.

Location ideas

We were going to use this, but due to weather conditions we decided not to.

We were going to pan across this location, but again due to weather conditions we decided not do.

This is where we started filming as it can be used as an establishing shot.

These two pictures show the location of the character.
This is where we did match on action.

This is another example of  where we used match on action.

This is a shot which shows the character starting to gain their pace. As Follows:

Shot reverse shot

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLkUHZ1qips This video is a good example of a shot reverse shot.
  • This sequence uses a shot reverse shot to show the facial expressoins of each character, which creates the mood of the scene.
  • The characters are shot in a mid close up emphasising the expression on their faces.
This shot shows that the character is uncomfortable as you can see she is raising her hand towards her hair.

    Match on action

This is the first part of  an action shot.
This is the second part, form a different angle, and was probably filmed at a different time however it is a good example of match on action as it is continuing from the last shot.

    180 Degree rule

Here is a video which explains the 180 degree rule and what happenes when it is broken http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdyyuqmCW14
